Portuguese Dates
Portuguese dates are written and spoken differently than English dates. Learning how to read and write dates in Portuguese will help you understand calendars, travel schedules, news articles, and everyday conversations.
Portuguese dates normally follow this order:
day + de + month + de + year
Example:
4 de março de 2026
Unlike English, commas are usually not used when writing dates in Portuguese.
